It was an absolutely amazing day yesterday!  I'm having abit of trouble posting in Nice! But all is well, a few tears from me last night due to tiredness and overwhelming emotional but I had johnbon here to cheer me up! Will post again when I can!

At the airport now! Ooosh! Just enjoyed a nice glass of white wine!  :)

The view of the sunset out of Liz and Joolz front window!

It was a beautiful day in Cologne yesterday!
I met Eva,  who had visited us in England about 10years ago.
She is so beautiful and an inspiration as she has done so much already! She spent some time in New Zealand and told me how on New years they all went for a swim and watched the first sunrise of the year!
We spent the day fine dining and having a few cheeky drinks on the balcony in the sunshine,  it was a very relaxing day and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wow! I can't even explain how I feel right now.
Today was huge for me! Anyone that knows me well will know about my anxiety and my troubles,  I won't get on a bus on my own, I can't walk to far on my own, I have to have music at a certain level so I can hear my own footsteps and breathing. I won't go into town on my own, in fact I will avoid doing pretty much anything that involves leaving my house on my own. Although I have been improving all of that today was the biggest step I have ever taken so far.
Today, I explored Cologne City Centre and even caught the tram on my own. This is a massive thing to me as I'm in a foreign place and there is also a language barrier. I had the most fantastic day and really enjoyed my own company for once!
I walked all around even getting lost several times, I learnt how to ask if people spoke English is German and put that to use which was a huge benefit! I have never felt so comfortable somewhere.
Today I am proud of myself.

I woke rather early yesterday and enjoyed an hour to myself outside on the balcony. Once up and about Joolz and I caught the tram into the old town and headed to the rhine. After a wonderful boat trip and after seeing several beautiful panoramic views of the city we then went for dinner on a house boat.  it was a fantastic day and to top it all off  I brought some new shoes haha! Also really want to learn German!

So john made his way to France! After a few hiccups with the sat nav he arrived in Reims! So proud of him!

So The Games are in Cologne! Although I'm not quite such a technology geek, I've really enjoyed the amazing atmosphere and live music! Had such a lovely evening! Liz and Ju treated me to cocktails and some great Mexican food!
